Adelaar
Adelaar Liveaboard is the divers choice for Komodo National Park, if you are looking for a little bit of luxury, then look no other way. Adelaar is a 39 meter Dutch Schooner, that has plenty of history to share. Adelaar was initially built in 1902, where it was initially a cargo vessel. In 2008 work began on the transformation to make it the exceptional Liveaboard she is today.
The interior is all steeped in Teakwood throughout, with beautiful high ceilings. Adelaar can comfortably accommodate eight guests in 4 exceptional, fully air-conditioned cabins, each with there own ensuite bathroom, with all the amenities of a high-end hotel.
The is the main lounge area, which is below deck, which is a lovely space with an extensive library, so pick a book and relax while you read and enjoy the view. You can order a cocktail or many other alcoholic drinks from the well-stocked bar, and it will be brought up to you on the deck so you can enjoy the fantastic sunsets in style.
All meals during your stay are a la carte in the main dining area. During your meals, you can enjoy the panoramic views as you cruise through Komodo National Park and the other regions.
The large sitting area, with its comfortable cushions, which is located on the main deck underneath the sun awning, provides plenty of shade for you to relax, if the weather is on your side, then meals will be served al fresco.
In addition to the many diving locations, Adelaar Liveaboard is part of a program with Whaleshark & Manta point conservation – When there is this itinerary option, it means a biologist in their respective field is part of the trip to locate and do research specifically for the Whaleshark or Manta Rays.
